Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Lusaka / South Luangwa National Park 

On arrival at Lusaka connect with a scheduled flight to Mfuwe, to South Luangwa National Park. On arrival at Chichele Presidential Lodge, you will have time to relax and refresh before exploring this legendary national park.

Day 2-3: South Luangwa National Park

Explore this magnificent park – bordered by striking hills and crossed by dry river beds, this park offers a diverse range of habitats which supports a myriad of game and birdlife. Enjoy morning and evening game drives or a walking safari, with a professional guides.

Day 4: South Luangwa National Park

After breakfast transfer through to Zebra Plains Camp, which is the first true luxury walking safari camp of its kind with just four traditional tents. The camp accommodates a maximum of six guests, allowing for an intimate exploration of the untouched northern sector of the South Luangwa National Park. South Luangwa is the home of walking safaris – nothing is more exciting than stalking elephant on foot!

Day 5-6: South Luangwa National Park

Walking safaris offer a different perspective on the bush and its plentiful inhabitants, you might wonder along a river bank, observing elephants before canoeing across the river to a larger island opposite the camp to get up close to the plains game before return to camp.

Day 7: South Luangwa National Park / Depart Lusaka

After breakfast you will be transferred through to Mfuwe in time for your scheduled flight back to Lusaka, after enjoying this true ‘Out of Africa’ experience.

If a cancellation is made after the confirmation email and deposits, then the following cancellation fees will apply:

Please Note: All tours and packages are based on a minimum of two passengers travelling together, unless otherwise stated. Single rates apply to singles travelling with other passengers.

Cancellation Fees
All booking cancellations in excess of 30 days prior to safari departure date will be subject to a 15% cancellation fee of the total safari cost.
50% of the total cost for cancellations between 29-15 days before arrival date.
100% of the total cost for cancellations between 14 -0 days and on arrival date.
100% of the total cost for any non-arrival.
