Transportation
On this Safari transportation from Johannesburg is done in a luxury air-conditioned mini-bus. The drive to the park is via the Panorama Route and includes the sights of God’s Window, Pilgrim’s Rest, Graskop and some magnificent Waterfalls. From Kruger Park we fly to Inhambane from Kruger Mpumalanga Airport and also fly return to Johannesburg from Inhambane.

Overnight Accommodation
We overnight at the 4 star Umbhaba Lodge (or similar) situated in Hazyview. The lodge consists of 30 en-suite, all temperature controlled for your comfort and are surrounded by flowing waterfalls and lush subtropical gardens.
Lodge facilities include an a la carte restaurant, the safari-style Burn Out Bar and a quiet lounge. A crystal-clear rock pool amid sprawling lawns is a glorious invitation in the heat of a Lowveld day Activities at Umbhaba Lodge include day and night safaris, helicopter excursions, hot air ballooning, fishing, hiking and horse riding.

Game Activities
Game drives are conducted in specially adapted, open 4×4 safari vehicles, maintained to the highest standards to ensure maximum comfort while driving in the Park. Guides are highly trained professionals equipped with knowledge on virtually every living species in the Park. Years of experience have prepared them to deal with any situation.

Clothing
South Africa’s climate is generally sunny and pleasant. Winters are usually mild, although snow falls on the mountain ranges of the Cape, Eastern Cape, Free State and Natal and occasionally in lower-lying areas, when a brief cold spell can be expected throughout the country.
Required clothing: Lightweight cottons and linens and rainwear for summer. Warmer clothes are needed for winter.

Itinerary

Day 1:Transfer from Johannesburg to Kruger Park via Panorama Route. Night game drive followed by dinner.

Day 2:Early morning game drive, breakfast then mid-morning game drive, break for lunch. Afternoon game drive, dinner.

Day 3:Early morning game drive, breakfast then transfer to Airport for flight to Mozambique. Transfer to Lodge and relax.

Day 4:Relax at Flamingo Bay Water Lodge including non-motorised activities and optional activities and excursions.

Day 5:Relax at Flamingo Bay Water Lodge including non-motorised activities and optional activities and excursions.

Day 6:Relax at Flamingo Bay then transfer to local airport for flight to Johannesburg to arrive late afternoon.

Cancellation Fees
All booking cancellations in excess of 30 days prior to safari departure date will be subject to a 15% cancellation fee of the total safari cost.
50% of the total cost for cancellations between 29-15 days before arrival date.
100% of the total cost for cancellations between 14 -0 days and on arrival date.
100% of the total cost for any non-arrival.
