Stand where David Livingstone stood when he first discovered and measured the Falls! It’s a moving moment. Our visit is to Livingstone Island, a mere 10 minute river-boat ride away from shore, on the Zambezi River, a location for a most memorable lunch experience. The theatre of the experience and the extreme beauty of the views are matched only by the diversity of the bird life – it’s a wonderful way to soak up the African bush. You’ll be viewing the falls from a unique vantage point, right at the point where the water thunders down a 100 metre drop. Nothing like a view of that magnitude to add to the flavour of drinks and lunch on Livingstone Island!

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Livingstone
On arrival at Livingstone Airport a Representative will meet and transfer you to your hotel. This afternoon enjoy a romantic sundowner’s cruise on the Zambezi River on board the African Queen.

Day 2: Victoria Falls
Depart on a morning tour to Victoria Falls, one of the 7 natural wonders of the world. See 650 million litres of water from the Zambezi River crash into the chasm below, from some of the many vantage points on numerous paths. This afternoon, indulge in some of the adventure activities on offer.

Day 3: Victoria Falls
Today we recommend a day trip to Chobe, Botswana (own account), located a short drive from Livingstone. Chobe National Park is the second largest national park in Botswana, and is home to a myriad of animals, including vast herds of Elephant. Your day tour includes a game drive in the Chobe National Park, lunch and an afternoon sunset cruise on the Chobe River.

Day 4: Depart Livingstone
Spend your last morning relaxing at your hotel, before you are transferred back to Livingstone Airport for your onward journey.

Cancellation Fees
All booking cancellations in excess of 30 days prior to safari departure date will be subject to a 15% cancellation fee of the total safari cost.
50% of the total cost for cancellations between 29-15 days before arrival date.
100% of the total cost for cancellations between 14 -0 days and on arrival date.
100% of the total cost for any non-arrival.
