This is for those of strong stomachs and iron wills…not unlike the Iron Man or Women contest. If you’re up for anything, you’ll be up for this extreme, adrenaline-packed excursion with the opportunity to do as many of these suggested mind-blowing activities as you can literally manage in the allotted time. Half a day of extreme sports, set on the edge of the Batoka Gorge, 300m away from the Victoria Falls. You could start with Abseiling (moving down the slope backwards) or ‘rap jump’ facing forward down the 53 metre gorge. Or why not take to flight on the Flying Fox, which allows you to ‘fly’ over the gorge while attached to a cable – you’ll be winched back to earth. And if you’re still hankering for more, here’s one you’ll love…The Gorge Swing. In short, you throw yourself off the edge of the gorge in a body harness, and freefall before ending your jump with numerous pendulum swings. This is a half – or full day – for those keen to push themselves to their limit. The very limit, and walk away laughing.
Note: All options require that you walk out of the gorge after each activity.
