Itinerary

DAY 1: HALF DAY SOWETO TOUR

Depart on a Half Day morning Soweto Tour, which includes fascinating glimpse of neighbourhood life. Drive past two Nobel Prize winners’ previous residences; Hector Pietorson Memorial, Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital (largest hospital in Africa) and various community developments. Transfer to and overnight at Lesedi Cultural Village. (D)

DAY 2: ORIGINS CENTRE & MAROPENG TOUR

After breakfast depart for tour of the Origins Centre. Discover human origin in Africa, creation of tools, language, art and spirituality. Holograms, virtual visual shows basic DNA test on touch screen. Then visit Maropeng at the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site. Afternoon transfer to Johannesburg. (B)
